The CB1100F took the CB1100R's 1062 cc engine and put it into a CB900F-based roadster for a wider market. Hotter cams, bigger pistons, 34 mm carburettors and more rake made it the strongest of Honda's air-cooled fours, with Cycle World recording an 11.1-second quarter mile. It was sold in Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia, with the US version getting a quarter fairing.
